Jewel Chao

What are Jewel Chao? They are special shiny Chao that you can get from the Game Boy Sonic games by earning a certain amount of rings in the action stages/mini-games. Open the shop window and look down the list for certain color egg that you want. If you don't see which one you want, go into one of the mini-games and exit immediately and check again for a new egg. There should be a new egg. If you have enough rings, you can buy it. If you want a list and pictures of all the Jewel Chao now, just read on. You can transfer the Chao egg from the GBA to the GameCube by getting a GBA/GCN Link Cable and going into the Chao Transporter on the GC and selecting "Pick Up". You can pick up all the rings, eggs, Chao and fruits in the Tiny Chao Garden on GBA if you choose.

Silver Chao [Common] - 500 rings
The silver Chao is the cheapest Chao, but it is actually a really gorgeous Chao. To get a Chao that looks like a Silver Chao, get a Shiny Grey Egg from the Black Market.

Gold Chao [Common] - 1000 rings
It's a little more expensive than the silver Chao, but it can make special Chao like Super Sonic Chao. To get a Chao that looks like a Gold Chao, get a Shiny Brown Egg from the Black Market.

Ruby Chao [Common] - 5000 rings
It isn't actually Ruby, it's kinda pinkish. And it isn't my type of color. To get a Chao that looks like a Ruby Chao, get a Shiny Pink Chao from the Black Market

Sapphire Chao [Common] - 7000 rings
Like the ruby Chao, I don't really like the color of this Chao, but it is definitely pretty and can be made into a Metal Sonic Chao. To get a Chao that looks like a Sapphire Chao, get a Shiny Blue Egg from the Black Market.

?
Amethyst Chao [Common] - 8000 rings
This is probably the ugliest Jewel Chao. Don't waste your money on this crap unless you're collecting Jewels. To get a Chao that looks BETTER than an Amethyst Chao, get a Shiny Purple Egg from the Black Market.

Emerald Chao [Uncommon] - 10000 rings
They start getting pretty here. This Chao is beautiful like the Master Emerald itself. To get a Chao that looks like an Emerald Chao, get a Shiny Green Chao from the Black Market.

Garnet Chao [Uncommon] - 12000 rings !!!
They certainly get more beautiful, as they get more expensive. This Chao is a beautiful crimson glow. To get a Chao that looks like a Garnet Chao, get a Shiny Red Chao from the Black Market.

Aquamarine [Rare] - 14000 rings !!!
This is my favorite Jewel Chao. A beautiful blue Chao that the Sapphire Chao should have been. It is also made to make a Chaos 0 Chao. To get a Chao that looks like the Aquamarine Chao, get a Shiny Sky Blue Chao from the Black Market.

Peridot [Rare] - 16000 rings !!!
A wonderful light green metallic Chao. It could be my second favie Jewel Chao. To get a Chao that looks like a Peridot Chao, get a Shiny Lime Green Chao from the Black Market.

Topaz Chao [Rare] - 18000 rings !!!!
A very light orangy color seperates the other Chao from this one. To get a Chao that looks like the Topaz Chao, get a Shiny Orange Chao from the Black Market.

Onyx Chao [Ultra Rare] - 20000 rings !!!!!
One of the most beautiful Chao in the whole game! And it is also the most expensive. To get a Chao that looks like the Onyx Chao, get a Shiny Black Chao from the Crap Market.
